Here are some helpful tips and information to make using these web pages easier. VIEWING CONTENT: To see or hear pack
content, just click on its image to the right of the text. A Crazy Talk (CT) presentation will open inside a panel. You will need to install the CT viewer if not already installed.
Use the play, pause, and stop controls on the CT viewer to navigate. When you are finished, click the red "close" buton on the panel. PROPS & ACCESSORIES: Often you will find that
some props, such as a river raft, also require an accessory, like a padle or ore, for your movie charctor to use them. Any time this is the case you will find the required accessory
within the props pack. DOWNLOAD DIRECTORIES: Any time you download and install a pack purchased from this interface it will be in a ZIP folder. You may choose where you would like the
zip to be downloaded to on your hard drive. Then, after you've unzipped the folder, open iClone and choose either the Props' or Accessories' Modify tab and 'Import Model" function to
import each item. Be sure to remember that some items may go into Props and others into Accessories. Just a hint: If you plan to have your charactor(s) pick up or wear the item, it
should be placed into the Accessories folder.NOTE: I know Reallusion allows for direct download into the correct iClone folders, however, the main reason for this is because they
do not allow CCD members to mix props, etc., with other categories...thus allowing for a direct install. I am offering a mixture of different content in my packs, so having them
install into a single folder would not work. CUSTOMIZE ME! This interface was created with customiation in mind. Don't like the skin change it! Just go to the directory where you installed this
Gene Pool interface, open the Graphics folder and you will find all of the grapgics used. Fire up your graphics editor, like Adobe Fireworks or Photoshop and modify or completely
replace any image you like. When you are finished just replace the existing files with yours, then open the interface. NOTE: 1. Image names must match the exsisting names
exactly or the program will not function properly. 2. The program recognizes transperancy. For example, if you go into the Graphics folder and look as the image of the big fish you
will notice that it has a blue background, but on the actual interface (when opened) there is no blue there. This is because that blue color is transparent (invisible). So why am I
telling you this? Because if you want to change the image to one with transperant edges like mine, all you have to do set the background or you image to that exact same color blue (or
whatever color the original image has a a background). The best way to do this is to open my image and yours side be side (in you graphics program), then use the color sampler to
capture my color and place it in yours.I could go into more detail but if you do not know how to work with a graphics program it would be a bit too much for me to get into. Just
in case you didn't know, I have provided several different skins for use with this interface which may be downloaded from my site. |
